I've only just heard this very sad news! My condolences go to Amiee, Ellis, Ava and all those that knew and loved Andy!

I had the privilege of working with Andy many years ago at GE in Bristol, in fact Andy was the one that really got me hooked on the leasing industry, which I've loved being a part of for so many years! He was so much fun to work for, always looking for an opportunity to play a prank! So many stories to tell but I'll share a couple that always make me laugh and think back to those fun times.

Like Andy I love my rugby and back in the day when I worked with Andy I was still playing each week for my team in Cheddar. One year leading up to Christmas I broke my ankle and had weeks off work, which was a great break :-) Well over this period was the time we would send out our corporate calendars to all our customers and Andy of course thought it would be hilarious to send what must have been over 20 of these to my house. My surname 'Callanan' was a constant source of amusement to Andy, so each envelope was addressed to multiple variations of my surname, from Mr Caravan, to Mr Caramel and the list went on.......

The second story gave the whole office a laugh.....we had just started to use the new CRM tool in the office and our job was to cold call new potential customers, well Andy had allocated a call to me one day, so I happily logged in to the system and started going through my call list. The next on my list was to call a Mr C Lyons........you can guess the rest, I ended up speaking with someone at Bristol Zoo!!

Smiling is infectious, you catch it like the flu,

When someone smiled at me today, I started smiling too.

I passed around the corner and someone saw my grin.

When he smiled I realized I'd passed it on to him.

I thought about that smile, then I realized its worth.

A single smile, just like mine could travel round the earth.

So, if you feel a smile begin, don't leave it undetected.

Let's start an epidemic quick, and get the world infected!
