I knew Andy from our days together at GE - always the perfect gent, kind and funny, polite, charming, he would do anything for anybody and give you the shirt off his back. I was so sad to read this, your dad was an amazing man, keep tight hold of your memories as they will get you through, nobody can ever take them away from you. I am sure that along with all his other qualities, he left you his strength to help you to cope. I am so so sorry, sending love to you all oxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxox

I remember Andy most as a 23yr old when he lived with us in Melbourne for about 9mths. He was wonderful to have around & was such good fun. (I have a few funny stories I can tell you another time ) We missed him so much when he returned home to the UK. But instead of disappearing altogether he was so good at keeping up contact & would often call & send cards etc.
He would always have something to say about the latest Cricket or Rugby tests that had been played & rib me endlessly.
He was so proud of you 3 - Amiee, Ellis, Ava. You really were the light of his life whenever I spoke with him & when I briefly visited a few years ago.
I was so sad to hear this news & feel so much for you all. It’s so good that you have each other as you go through this difficult time.
Sending love from Melbourne xxx Nicky

Andy was a true gent and genuine guy. My family and I were lucky enough to have known him, even if only for a short time while at Kingswood RFC. He had a great sense of humour and was very passionate about his family and rugby.
He once made the rookie mistake of letting me know about receiving a Blue Peter badge as a child and in true Rugby Tour fashion, I made him a giant badge that he proudly wore with a fun loving smile throughout the tour weekend. He was always game for a laugh and we have and will continue to miss him very much.
Rest easy buddy.
